About

My name is Erik Charles Palmquist. I am a Bozemanite, born and raised. From a young age I was a very active and creative kid. Whether I was kicking a ball with friends on the soccer field, shredding the slopes of Bridger Bowl or drawing in my room, there wasn't much down time in my life. I am in my senior year at Montana State University-Bozeman, majoring in graphic design.
During the second semester of my junior year I studied abroad, living in Italy with 18 other MSU students for three months. During the first month there we visited Venice, Mantua, Florence, Rome, Napoli, Pompeii and Perugia. Throughout that time we saw just about every famous piece of art imaginable in those amazing cities. From Picasso and Salvador Dali in the Guggenheim in Venice, to the David in Florence, we saw it all. Not to mention spending the last two months living in a villa outside Perugia, learning sculpture and Italian.
I spent my spring break in England, visiting Manchester, Liverpool and London. Getting the chance to take in a Manchester United VS Everton game at the legendary Old Trafford, which has been a dream of mine since I knew what soccer was. After my three months in Italy, I spent a week in Gothenburg, Sweden where I have family. This incredible opportunity opened my eyes and changed who I am as a person.
To this day, my life revolves around my passions for soccer, art, shoes and graphic design. Through my love for soccer, soccer cleats and design, blossomed my aspiration of becoming a footwear designer.
My future plans include graduating from Montana State this spring and furthering my footwear knowledge at the Pensole Design Academy in Portland, Oregon.
